Design Process
With her background in architecture and interior design, thinking through space, pattern and materiality has long been central to Yasha's work, first across residential and hospitality projects, and now at Maison Puli.
Each collection begins with an overall concept, often informed by travel, design publications, or ideas gathered over time. Yasha explores these through hand sketching, watercolor, and digital illustration, playing with pattern, color, and composition until a direction emerges.
From there, she works closely with artisans to develop each design, digitizing and refining scale, proportion, and layout before returning the work to the hands that will bring it to life. That back and forth, between the considered and the handmade is what gives each piece its character.
