I was born in Hyderabad, India, a city of layered histories, vibrant markets, and a culture deeply intertwined with craft and making. Telugu is one of the languages native to Hyderabad, and Puli, meaning tiger, felt like a quiet and personal nod to the place I come from.

Maison: French for "Home"

Puli: Telugu/ Tamil for "Tiger"
A symbol of strength, grace in power, sharp instinct and spirited personality.

Together, Maison Puli translates to "The House of the Tiger."

It is a subtle nod to my roots, and a reminder that the most meaningful objects carry a sense of place within them, just as this brand does.
